“What would be your top localization tip for the Localization World community?”
Last week Localization World 28 took place in Berlin, with localization and translation professionals from across the globe attending the event. We enjoyed meeting so many of you who visited are booths and would like to say a big thank you to all that attended sessions where SDL employees were involved.

Don’t make localization a last minute decision because you feel it is what you need to do. You should make sure your localization strategy is embedded into your content planning right from the get go.

The quality of your localization work can often be affected by the original source. Take a few moments to review and improve the source (with the authors approval) to ensure you deliver the target work as accurately and timely as possible.

If you’re looking to keep your localization process as simple and straightforward as possible, consider centralizing and automating the process with technology such as SDL Studio GroupShare and SDL WorldServer.
